'Taxi Driver 3' Unveils First Look at Fan-Favorite Duo: Jang Hyuk-jin & Bae Yoo-ram

“Taxi Driver 3” just dropped the first on-set stills of scene-stealing duo Jang Hyuk-jin and Bae Yoo-ram―and the laughs are already guaranteed.

Premiering Friday, Nov. 21 on SBS, the new season of "Taxi Driver"―based on the hit webtoon―follows the shadowy Rainbow Taxi team and driver Kim Do-gi as they deliver vigilante justice for victims who’ve been failed by the system. The series is penned by Oh Sang-ho and directed by Kang Bo-seung.

A bona fide mega-hit, the Taxi Driver franchise ranks among the top five highest-rated Korean dramas since 2023 (peaking at 21% nationwide) and took home Best Drama Series at the 28th Asian Television Awards. Season 3 brings back the full “Rainbow Five”: Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram.

On Oct. 23, producers unveiled first-look stills spotlighting Rainbow Taxi’s engineer duo, Jang and Bae, stoking fan excitement.

Formerly a new-car development ace and an airline mechanic, the pair are Rainbow Taxi’s resident MacGyvers―building the gadgets, rigs, and everything in between to pull off each revenge mission. Their bicker-then-sync chemistry has long been a fan favorite, whether they’re bowing to the team’s true power center, Go Eun, or getting roped into chaotic fieldwork by Do-gi.

In the new images, the two sport matching coveralls, with Jang’s swagger and Bae’s wide-eyed charm signaling that Rainbow Taxi is back in full force―and still up to hilarious antics.

Another still captures the duo’s signature banter-to-brawl energy: grinning in front of lookalike caricatures one moment, tumbling into a slapstick scuffle the next. Expect relentless comic beats, disaster-prone field missions, and a carousel of “alter egos” that keep the action buzzing.

With tighter teamwork and bigger, more spectacular missions on deck, Rainbow Taxi’s third ride looks ready to send heart rates soaring.
