Actor Kim Byung-chul set the record straight about his relationship status, saying he’s often mistaken for a married man―even though he’s never tied the knot.
Kim appeared as a special guest MC on the Oct. 19 episode of SBS' "My Little Old Boy."
A fan of the show, he admitted it sometimes hits a little too close to home. “I think about my parents and end up feeling guilty about still being single, so I haven’t watched it much,” he shared.
The 1974-born star―same age as Seo Jang-hoon―laughed that his related search terms read like a family-man checklist: “wife, children, divorce.”
He added that even fellow actors his age assume he has a spouse and kids, and are surprised to learn he’s never been married.
Host Shin Dong-yup asked if he pictured himself staying solo or getting married someday. Kim replied, “Someday, I think I will,” noting that finding the right partner matters more to him than anything.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kim broke into the “Soda Pop” choreography by "KPop Demon Hunters," delighting the show’s “Mom-vengers” panel.
