Actor-Model Yu Hyun-woo Drops Debut Single 'No Control' Today: "It's a Longtime Dream Come True"

Actor-model Yu Hyun-woo officially steps into music today (Sept. 16 KST), dropping his new digital single "No Control" at noon and kicking off a fresh chapter as a recording artist.

Known for his clean-cut image, Yu was recently tapped as the exclusive face of a premium skincare brand, quickly becoming a favorite with advertisers. "No Control" puts the spotlight on his vocals and musical instincts.

Blending rock bite with pop polish, "No Control" surges from the first beat, channeling obsession and all-consuming desire through dynamic production and explosive emotion. The music video, directed by Jo Yong-sun ("No Breathing," "Air Murder"), was created entirely with AI from a single photo of Yu―a bold concept already turning heads.

"I've dreamed about making music for a long time, and I'm thrilled to finally begin in earnest," Yu said. "I poured my nerves and my heart into this―hopefully my voice can resonate and give people strength."

Promotions kick off Sept. 17 with an appearance on MBC's music show "Show! Champion," with more activities to come as he builds out his multi-hyphenate career across acting and music.
