Lee Chae Yeon Exits WM Entertainment After 7 Years: "We'll Be Cheering On Her Next Chapter"

Singer Lee Chae Yeon is parting ways with longtime label WM Entertainment.

On the 12th, WM Entertainment said in a statement, "After extensive discussions, we have mutually agreed to end our exclusive contract with Lee Chae Yeon. We will continue to support her so that all scheduled activities proceed without a hitch."

"We are sincerely grateful to Lee Chae Yeon, who grew with us as a member of IZ*ONE and as a solo artist," the company added. "We’ll be cheering on her next chapter." The label also thanked fans for their steady support and asked for continued interest and love going forward.

Lee first gained prominence on Mnet’s "Produce 48 in 2018," ultimately debuting as the main dancer and lead vocalist of project group IZ*ONE, where she was active until April 2021. She officially launched her solo career in October 2022 and has remained active since.
