'Running Man' Celebrates 15 Years with a Nostalgic Throwback to Its First Episode

'Running Man' has hit its 15-year milestone, celebrating with the same energy and style as when it first aired.

This Sunday's episode of SBS 'Running Man' will unveil a special 15th-anniversary race that fully embraces the spirit of the show.

Since its premiere in July 2010, 'Running Man' has been a relentless force in variety entertainment, recently marking its 15th anniversary. In celebration, the cast members made a grand entrance to the filming set, dressed exactly as they were in the very first episode.

From head-to-toe, the cast members perfectly recreated their original looks, down to the last detail, including their hairstyles, prompting a delightful trip down memory lane. Adding to the celebration, Super Junior members LeeTeuk, EunHyuk, and KyuHyun, who are marking their 20th debut anniversary this year, also made an appearance. The trio brought back the iconic fashion of the 2000s, including vests, chains, and skinny jeans, while performing their new song 'Express Mode,' perfectly recapturing the essence of the 2010s.

The episode also featured a 'Gold Race,' where the ultimate prize of gold was up for grabs. Participants could increase their chances of winning gold by collecting 'R-Coins,' with the size of their haul influencing their odds. The larger the collection, the higher the chance of winning gold, and vice versa, setting the stage for an upgraded physical competition in a massive set designed specifically for 'Running Man.'

With a combined 35 years of experience in entertainment, the veterans are expected to deliver an exciting physical race. The 'Gold Race,' which promises not to hold back on the entertainment factor, will air this Sunday at 6:10 PM on 'Running Man.'
