Cho Jungseok's 'My Daughter is a Zombie' Goes Global: Set for Release in 22 Countries Worldwide

The film 'My Daughter is a Zombie,' starring actor Cho Jungseok, has confirmed its global release.

'My Daughter is a Zombie' is a comedic drama about a doting father who goes into top-secret training to protect his daughter, who has become the last remaining zombie on Earth.

According to the investment distributor NEW, 'My Daughter is a Zombie' will kick off its international journey in Taiwan on August 1st, followed by releases in Indonesia and Vietnam on August 8th, the Philippines on August 13th, and Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, along with Australia and New Zealand among 12 countries in Oceania on August 14th. It will also premiere in Hong Kong and Macao on August 21st, making its way sequentially across 22 countries in Asia and Oceania.

Edko Films, the Hong Kong distributor, praised the film, saying, "'My Daughter is a Zombie' stands out primarily for the chemistry among its cast. The first half grips you with intense immersion, while the latter half captures hearts with its warm drama. It transcends language and cultural barriers, allowing audiences worldwide to laugh, cry, and empathize together." This acclaim has heightened expectations for the film's success.

Based on a popular Naver webtoon of the same name, 'My Daughter is a Zombie' has sparked a hot topic with its trailer release, showcasing a perfect character synchronization that seems to leap right out of the original work. Moreover, the film stars trusted actors like Jo Jung-suk, known for his roles in 'Exit' and 'Pilot,' along with Lee Jung-eun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Yuri, raising anticipation for the synergy they create.

'My Daughter is a Zombie' will be available in theaters nationwide starting July 30th.
