Can Nine Cheok Giants break the bad chemistry with Balladream?
On the 21st, the SBS show 'Kick a Goal' featured a G League B Group preliminary match between the Nine Cheok Giants and Balladream.
Before the match, the Nine Cheok Giants discussed their compatibility with Balladream. Captain Lee Hyun-yi said, "We have bad chemistry with Balladream. It's not good for us."
Balladream had previously won all their matches against the Nine Cheok Giants. Lee Hyun-yi expressed frustration, saying, "I still dream about those matches. It's infuriating to be completely outplayed by a team with such a weight class difference."
Coach Lee Young-pyo commented, "In a nutshell, we've never won against them during 'Kick a Goal'. Balladream has skill, good one-two passes, and knows how to exploit openings. They're a tough team if you let them play their game. But if you don't let them, they struggle significantly, more than you'd expect."
Coach Lee Young-pyo then outlined a strategy focusing on physicality and tactics to pressure Balladream, saying, "The first step is preventing the ball from reaching their striker, and the second is breaking Balladream's posture with physical challenges." This strategy caught everyone's attention.
