TWICE JIHYO Underestimates 'Whenever Possible' Games & Pays the Price

SBS's variety show 'Whenever Possible,' gifts moments of fortune in the brief gaps found within daily life. Since its season 3 premiere, it has not only broken its own record with a peak viewership of 5.8%, 4.5% in the metropolitan area, and 1.9% among viewers aged 20-49, but also claimed the top spot in its time slot for Tuesday night entertainment, marking a dazzling return.

In the upcoming episode 23 of 'Whenever Possible,' airing on the 20th, TWICE's JIHYO and SANA will join as 'Gap Friends' to bring bustling fortune to the Geumho-dong area.

During the filming, JIHYO expressed confidence in the show's signature gap games. Unlike Yoo Jae-suk, who was visibly nervous, JIHYO said, "Don't these games seem a bit trivial? I think I can do well," showcasing her bold confidence. This prompted 'game veteran' Yoo Yeon-seok to retort, "Trivial games are different when you play them at home versus when there's a prize on the line. I've failed at these so-called trivial games many times," which made Yoo Jae-suk add, "It really puts psychological pressure on you," ramping up the tension. However, SANA's baseless confidence, saying, "I think I can do it?" lifted the spirits of the otherwise apprehensive Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok.

However, just 10 seconds into the game, JIHYO and SANA were screaming in despair. Their previous confidence vanished, with JIHYO wondering, "Why am I sweating so much?" and SANA tearfully apologizing, "What do we do? I was too hasty, sorry," causing JIHYO to jokingly ask her to step out, turning the set into a sea of laughter. Eventually, JIHYO and SANA went into apology mode, saying, "Sorry, it's so different from when you watch it at home," knocking down Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok. This raises the question of whether JIHYO and SANA can indeed make a significant impact in the not-so-trivial gap games.

Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon-seok, who is more serious about games than anyone, sparks curiosity with his innovative idea for the season 3's first lunch bet. Yoo Jae-suk even praised him, saying, "Has Yeon-seok been going to a game research lab lately? I love it," giving him a thumbs up. The big question is whether 'confidence maxed out' JIHYO and SANA can overcome the odds and host a successful fortune fest in 'Whenever Possible,' which will be revealed in the broadcast.

'Whenever Possible,' airs on the 20th (Tuesday) at 9 PM.
