Singer Jeong Joong-sik Clueless About Music Royalties, Tells Wife Jang Jae-na His Bank Balance Is Only $400

Jang Jae-na was curious about singer Jeong Joong-sik's earnings from his music.

In the episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny' aired on the 12th, the couple Jeong Joong-sik and Jang Jae-na were seen preparing for their wedding.

During the broadcast, Jang Jae-na was fully immersed in wedding preparations. However, Jeong Joong-sik seemed quite laid-back compared to Jang Jae-na, catching viewers' attention.

Jang Jae-na, worried about the wedding budget, asked, "Is your music still ranking high?" showing her curiosity about the royalties.

She continued, "You need to tell me how much we can spend on the budget so I can plan accordingly," urging him to disclose his music income.

Jeong Joong-sik responded, "I have no idea how much comes in. The copyright association doesn't give clear answers," leaving the panelists in disbelief, asking, "What are we supposed to do then?"

Jeong Joong-sik explained, "Most composers live with that kind of uncertainty," drawing attention.

He added, "I don't know when or how much will come in. I'm clueless about things like karaoke settlements. I wish I knew," frustrating Jang Jae-na.

Finally, Jang Jae-na said, "Then we need to plan the budget with what we currently have," to which Jeong Joong-sik humorously revealed, "I have $400. That's all I have," causing an uproar of laughter.
