Sleepy Cleared of Breach of Trust Charges in Dispute with Former Agency

Singer Sleepy has been cleared of breach of trust charges. 

On the 10th, Sleepy announced on his social media account that the police had dismissed the multimillion-won breach of trust case filed against him by his former agency last November.

According to Goyang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, a decision was made on March 21 not to forward Sleepy's case for prosecution. Authorities found insufficient evidence to support TS Entertainment's claim that Sleepy had committed breach of trust.

Last September, Sleepy had already won a final victory in a damages lawsuit filed by his former agency, which has since gone bankrupt. The court acknowledged that Sleepy's claims—that he had suffered financial hardship after not receiving proper payments from the agency—were substantiated.

In addition, Sleepy revealed that he plans to file a countersuit against his former agency for false accusation.

Sleepy commented, "While this may lead to another long legal battle, I made this decision in the hope that no one, including myself, will have to suffer unjustly again. I promise to continue showing a humble and sincere attitude, and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported me."
