Jang Do-yeon Signs Exclusive Contract with SM C&C, Joins Kang Ho-dong & Jeon Hyun-moo

Entertainer Jang Do-yeon has signed an exclusive contract with SM C&C.

On the 1st, SM C&C announced, "Jang Do-yeon, who is loved by people of all ages for her unique wit and charm, has joined the SM C&C family. We plan to support her in every way possible so she can expand her activities even further."

Jang Do-yeon first appeared on the audition program Mnet's 'Talking 18+' (literal title) in 2006, and debuted as a comedian in 2007 through KBS' 22nd open recruitment. She gained recognition for her talent as a comedian by creating unique characters with her unreserved passion on KBS's 'Gag Concert' and later became a key player on tvN's 'Comedy Big League' for many years.

Known for her humorous and witty speaking skills, Jang Do-yeon has also made a name for herself as a host, becoming a 'go-to MC' for various programs. She has hosted shows across different genres, including tvN's 'Life Bar', JTBC's 'Movie Room', Mnet's 'TMI NEWS', KBS' 'Dogs Are Incredible', MBC's 'Stingy', KBS' 'Celebrity Health's Secret' (literal translation), and MBC's 'Radio Star'. She has also demonstrated her ability to lead seasonal programs like Mnet's 'Love Catcher', SBS' 'Tails of Tales', and MBC's 'Adventure by Accident'.

In TVING's 'High School Mystery Club', she played the role of a student detective, proving her worth as a key player in the show. She has also ventured into acting with appearances in SBS' 'Master's Sun', tvN's 'Plus Nine Boys', and JTBC's 'Behind Your Touch'. She is set to make her film debut in the upcoming 2025 movie 'Your Country' (working title).

Beyond traditional broadcasting, Jang Do-yeon is also making her mark on YouTube. She is the main host of the YouTube show 'Salon Drip', which features high-class social gatherings with guest appearances each week. Her exceptional storytelling and entertaining episodes have solidified her status as a 'next-generation MC'.

With her diverse and active career, Jang Do-yeon's partnership with the renowned management company SM C&C is generating significant anticipation and interest in her future endeavors. SM C&C is home to many entertainers and actors, including Kang Ho-dong, Jeon Hyun-moo, Seo Jang-hoon, Han Seok-jun, Kim Soo-ro, and Lee Hak-joo.
