
The film 'Somebody,' starring Kwak Seon-young, Kwon Yu-ri of Girls' Generation, and Lee Seol, has debuted at No. 2 at the box office.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets on March 13, 'Somebody' attracted 10,513 viewers nationwide on its opening day, March 12.
'Somebody' is a psychological thriller that depicts the unraveling of Yeong-eun's (played by Kwak Seon-young) life due to her daughter So-hyeon's bizarre behavior. Twenty years later, Min (played by Kwon Yu-ri), who has lost her past memories, encounters Hae-young (played by Lee Seol), leading to further disruptions.
With 'Mickey 17' entering its third week and its daily audience dropping to around 40,000, 'Sombody' managed to debut at No. 2. The re-released 'Whiplash' secured the No. 3 spot, drawing 10,211 viewers on the same day.
