
Behind-the-scenes photos featuring IU and Park Bo-gum's kiss scene in a canola field from 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' have been released.
The Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' (written by Im Sang-choon, directed by Kim Won-seok) is a drama that unfolds the adventurous lives of 'rebellious troublemaker' Ae-soon and 'stubborn iron man' Gwan-sik, who were born in Jeju, across the four seasons. The first four episodes were released on March 7.
According to Netflix's announcement on the 12th, 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' recorded 3,600,000 views (calculated by dividing the total viewing hours by the runtime of the series) within just three days of its release on the 7th, ranking 4th in the global TOP 10 series (non-English) category. The series has also made it to the TOP 10 list in 24 countries, including South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Peru, and Bolivia, showcasing its global popularity.
'When Life Gives You Tangerines' captures not only the adventurous lives of two youths but also the story of all of us living through the seasons of life. Upon the release of its first act, the series received praise from both domestic and international media and viewers. In response to the global interest, Netflix has released some behind-the-scenes photos, delighting fans.

The released behind-the-scenes photos capture the warm and lively atmosphere of the set, as well as various moments that convey the passage of time from past to present.
First, the photos of 'Ae-soon' (IU) and 'Gwan-sik' (Park Bo-gum) flashing peace signs or sharing a sweet, shy kiss in a yellow canola field are sure to make anyone smile. Whether they are looking at each other and smiling, hugging and crying, or playfully interacting off-camera, the photos perfectly showcase the charm of the mischievous 'Ae-soon' and the earnest 'Gwan-sik."
The images of Park Bo-gum smiling brightly suggest that the filming atmosphere was as warm and vibrant as the series itself. Additionally, IU engrossed in monitoring and Park Bo-gum appearing emotional highlight the dedication of both actors to vividly portray 'Ae-soon' and 'Gwan-sik.'

Additionally, the photos of middle-aged 'Ae-soon' (Moon So-ri) and 'Gwan-sik' (Park Hae-jun) looking at each other convey the touching image of the two remaining together despite the passage of time.
