Actor Cha Seung-won has signed an exclusive contract with KeyEast.
KeyEast stated, "We are thrilled to partner with Cha Seung-won, who has built a career spanning over 30 years and has earned the trust of the public. We are excited to accompany such a prominent actor and will provide the optimal environment to further enhance his impressive career. We will do our utmost to support his active and diverse entertainment activities, as well as various related challenges."
After making waves last year with Disney+'s original series 'The Tyrant', Netflix's film 'Jeon, Ran', and tvN's variety show 'Three Meals a Day: Light', Cha Seung-won continues his unstoppable momentum into 2025.
He is set to star in the Netflix series 'Gwangjang', based on the popular Naver webtoon, and is also eagerly anticipated in Park Chan-wook's upcoming film 'Can't Help It', which is one of the most awaited releases of 2025.
Additionally, he is preparing to shoot a new Netflix series tentatively titled 'Slowly but Intensely'. In this series, Cha Seung-won will take on the role of Gil-yeo, promising a transformative character change. Having collaborated again with writer Noh Hee-kyung after 'Our Blues', expectations are high for Cha's unique depth in performance to leave a lasting impression.
KeyEast is a management company that represents actors such as Chae Jung-an, Park Myung-hoon, Bae Jung-nam, Han Sun-hwa, and Kang Han-na. The company has produced original content like Coupang Play's 'Family Plan', Disney+'s 'Trigger', and tvN's 'Ask the Stars'. Last year, they expanded their business into variety show production, creating diverse content such as ENA's 'My Kid's Life' to diversify their IP business.
