SEUNGRI, formerly of K-pop boy group BIGBANG, is making headlines again—but this time, for an unexpected sighting.
On March 5, a post on X surfaced, claiming that SEUNGRI was seen at a pork backbone soup restaurant in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
The person who posted wrote, "I saw SEUNGRI at a pork backbone soup place in Songpa. He was eating like he was in a rush, almost like he was trying not to get caught. He was with a very pretty woman. The place was packed, and everyone knew it was SEUNGRI, but they all pretended not to notice."
They continued, "Then, one of the older ladies working there handed him a big piece of paper and loudly asked for an autograph. Right after that, SEUNGRI got up and left. After he left, I told her, 'Don't put that autograph on the wall—he's a terrible person.' And she just said, 'I know.'"
The post has since gone viral, racking up over 3.3 million views and spreading across multiple online communities.

SEUNGRI rose to fame as a member of BIGBANG in 2006, but his career came to a halt in 2019 when he was embroiled in the Burning Sun scandal.
In 2020, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison after being convicted on nine charges, including facilitating prostitution, overseas gambling, and money laundering.
After his release in February 2023, SEUNGRI reportedly moved to Southeast Asia, where he was seen meeting with foreign investors, including Jacob Arabo, the founder of luxury watch brand Jacob & Co., seeming as if he was pursuing new business ventures in the region.
Despite his criminal past, SEUNGRI has not exactly kept a low profile as well.
He has been frequently spotted partying at clubs worldwide, showing no signs of remorse.
Now, it looks like he is back in Korea—at least for now anyway.
