[SBS Entertainment News | Kang Kyung-youn] The group SEVENTEEN has achieved an impressive feat by topping two different charts on Japan's Oricon with two albums.

According to the latest chart released by Oricon on March 4, SEVENTEEN's fourth Japanese single "Shohikigen (消費期限/Expiration Date)" and their 12th mini album "SPILL THE FEELS" both claimed the number one spot on the "Daily Single Ranking" and "Daily Album Ranking," respectively.

It is quite rare for an artist to dominate two charts with albums released at different times. Notably, both "Shohikigen" and "SPILL THE FEELS" have maintained their popularity over time, successfully making a comeback on the charts.

Released in November of last year, "Shohikigen" surpassed 500,000 copies in cumulative shipments within a month and received a Gold Disc "Double Platinum" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. The single also topped the "Daily Single Ranking" on January 17 and again on February 27-28, proving its long-lasting appeal.

"SPILL THE FEELS" has also made its mark by ranking fifth in both the "Combined Album Ranking" and "Album Ranking" categories of the "Oricon Annual Ranking 2024," and it received a Gold Disc "Double Platinum" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan earlier this year, showcasing its enduring popularity.
