[SBS Star] "Looks Don't Really Matter to Me" Hyeri Talks About Her Thoughts on Marriage

Hyeri of K-pop girl group Girl's Day shared her thoughts on marriage.

On February 12, Hyeri appeared on comedian Lee Yong-jin's YouTube show "Yongtarot," where he did a tarot reading for her.
During the session, Lee Yong-jin kicked things off by saying he would check her fortune regarding marriage.

Hyeri, looking hopeful, responded, "I feel like I'll get married before I hit 40." 

But Lee Yong-jin pointed out, "Most celebrities I read for usually get readings that suggest they won't get married in their 30s. Their careers tend to follow long-term plans." 

Still, Hyeri stood firm, saying, "Well, I want to get married in my 30s." 

Lee Yong-jin then asked about her type, and Hyeri shared, "Looks don't really matter to me. I like someone gentle, reserved, and family-oriented." 
After finishing the tarot reading, Lee Yong-jin told Hyeri, "You actually could get married in your 30s. It looks like you'll start thinking about it more after 35." 

He added, "I see you meeting someone between 35 and 40. That would be a great time to settle down." 

Hearing this, Hyeri seemed a little surprised; she said, "Wait, that's not too far off. I just turned 30!"

Lee Yong-jin went on to predict, "You'll probably date someone for a while and then get married after 35. I think you'll meet someone soon." 
Lee Yong-jin also advised, "Make sure you don't miss the window between 35 and 40."

When Hyeri asked, "And if I do?" he casually replied, "Then you'll just turn 41. But you might not even care about marriage anymore then." 

He then added, "So far, work has been the biggest source of happiness and excitement in your life. But if you have kids, you might find parenting even more fulfilling. I think you'll meet the right person at the right time." 

At the end, Hyeri playfully asked Lee Yong-jin to host the ceremony at her wedding.
