[SBS Star] "She Was Thai" Son Suk-ku Talks About Realizing His First Love’s Incredible Wealth

Actor Son Suk-ku revealed that his first love in high school turned out to be incredibly rich in Thailand.

On February 12, Son Suk-ku appeared on actress Yoo In Na's YouTube show "You in Radio." 

While talking about relationships, Yoo In Na and Son Suk-ku discussed how long the unofficial dating phase should last.

Son Suk-ku said, "When I was younger, I thought that stage should last about a month. But now, I'd say it'd be more like three to six months."
The actor also shared a story about his first love afterward. 

Reminiscing the past, Son Suk-ku shared, "She was my first love, and as far as I know, I was hers too." 

Then he revealed something unexpected—she was from a super rich family.

"At the time, I had no idea just how wealthy she was. She was a senior at my school, and I was a sophomore. She was from Thailand."
It was not until years later that he realized the extent of her wealth, he explained. 

He stated, "I randomly came across her social media and saw a photo of her standing in front of a waterfall. Then I found out… that waterfall was in her backyard!"

Laughing, he added, "That's when it hit me—she was living in a whole different world. And I finally understood why her older brother didn't like me so much." 

Son Suk-ku attended St. John's Preparatory School in Minnesota, the United States.
