
Actress Han Sun-hwa has been cast as the lead in the movie 'Student Teacher Practicum' (directed by Kim Min-ha).
'Student Teacher Practicum' is a comedy film that follows an enthusiastic aspiring teacher who returns to her alma mater for her teaching practicum, as she struggles to uncover the secrets of a group of club girls who are at the top of the national mock exams. This new project is directed by Kim Min-ha, known for 'Amoeba Girls' and 'School Ghost Stories: Founding Day'.
Han Sun-hwa will portray the character Kang Eun-kyung, an intern who is determined to restore the integrity of the teaching profession and implement proper education. While investigating the mysterious activities of a suspicious school club, she becomes embroiled in unexpected events. Han Sun-hwa aims to bring the character's story to life with her delicate and vibrant acting, blending comedy and suspense to enhance the film's immersion.
Han Sun-hwa began her acting career in earnest with the drama 'Genius Advertisement Lee Tae-baek' and has since expanded her range as an actress through various genres and characters in dramas such as 'Marriage Not Dating', 'Rose-colored Lovers', 'School 2017', 'Save Me 2', and 'Convenience Store Saet-byul', as well as films like 'Gangneung', 'Sweet and Sour: 7510', and 'Letter from Kyoto'.
Notably, her role as the spirited yoga instructor Han Ji-yeon in the TVING original series 'Women in the City of Drinkers' marked a turning point in her acting career, earning her acclaim from both audiences and critics.
Last year, she captured both box office success and public interest as the kids' creator Go Eun-ha in the JTBC drama 'The Woman Who Entertains'.
