The exciting lineup of friends for 'Jungle Bop 2' and its premiere date have been revealed.

The new season of SBS's 'Jungle Bop 2 - Peru Bop' is set to premiere on Thursday, the 27th, at 9 PM. 'Jungle Bop' is a show that features cooking with ingredients sourced only from the jungle, while interacting with locals. Season 2 will showcase culinary stories set against the backdrop of Peru, the land of the Incas, and the emerald Caribbean Sea.

In 'Peru Bop', the powerful duo of 'Chef Ryu Soo-young', who captivated audiences with his jungle cuisine in the previous season, and 'Star Chef' Choi Hyun-seok, a leading figure in the cooking entertainment phenomenon, will be joined by actors Kim Ok-bin and Choi Daniel. Viewers are eagerly anticipating Kim Ok-bin's refreshing and unpretentious charm, which is rarely seen in variety shows, and Choi Daniel's quirky and endearing personality.

The teaser video for 'Peru Bop', released last month during the '2024 SBS Entertainment Awards', showcased the friends enjoying gourmet experiences amidst the breathtaking natural landscapes of the Amazon, the Andes, and the Pacific Ocean. Notably, Ryu Soo-young demonstrated his impressive wok skills, while Choi Hyun-seok expertly handled large fish, raising expectations for their future performances. Kim Ok-bin was seen swimming and interacting with local children, while Choi Daniel humorously spat out a chewed-up insect, bringing laughter to viewers.

Following Peru, the second destination will be the stunning Caribbean Sea. In 'Jungle Bop 2 - Caribbean Bop', the beloved chef Yoon Nam-no, known for his unique cooking style, will team up with Ryu Soo-young. There is great anticipation for the extraordinary recipes that Yoon Nam-no, with his distinctive personality and skills, will create alongside the 'pioneer of home cooking', Ryu Soo-young.
