JENNIE of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK cutely complained about no K-pop stars wanting to do dance challenges with her.

On January 30, JENNIE appeared on comedian Yang Sechan's YouTube show, where she talked with him about her comeback preparations and concerns.

JENNIE said, "I've been working on this album for a year. I put so much effort into making music, but these days, just putting out a song doesn't mean people will listen."

She resumed, "I don't really know what the younger generation is into right now. I want to do something my fans will love, but I'm just not sure what that is, you know. Promoting music is so hard these days."
JENNIEJENNIEJENNIE also brought up K-pop's challenge culture, which has become a key part of promotions.

"I've never really done a proper dance challenge with anyone before. No one's asked me to do one with them," she said, sounding disappointed.

When the production team pointed out that most challenges happen backstage at music shows, JENNIE responded, "Every time I go, the hallways are empty. Do I just happen to go on the wrong days? I was hoping someone would ask me to do a challenge together, but no one ever does. It's so sad!" she said, clearly bummed.

Watching this, fans quickly reassured JENNIE, commenting, "You're literally a global superstar—they're probably all too nervous to ask," "Oh, no...! But don't be sad, unnie! I'm sure they'll ask, now that they know how much you want to do it!" and "You should start one yourself! If you start it, everyone will want to do it with you!" and more.

JENNIE is set to drop her new single "Love Hangover" on the 31st, followed by her first full-length solo album "Ruby" on March 7.
