[SBS Star] "The First One Resembles..." Song Joong Ki Shares Who His Two Children Look More like

Actor Song Joong Ki shared who his and former British actress Katy Louise Saunders' two children take after.

On January 7, Song Joong Ki appeared on comedienne Jang Do-yeon's YouTube show "Salon Drip 2."

On this day, Song Joong Ki shared his thoughts about his wife and children during the talk.

When host Jang Do-yeon asked, "Who do the kids look more like?" he replied, "The eldest child has my lips and my wife's eyes. The youngest, on the other hand, has my eyes, while her lips and nose resemble my wife's."
Then, Song Joong Ki was asked what qualities he hopes his children inherit.

Without hesitation, Song Joong Ki said he wishes they would inherit his wife's language abilities.

The actor explained, "My wife lived in various places as a child and speaks English, Spanish, French, and Italian. All of them really fluently as well. Now she's learning Korean."

He continued, "She's my wife, but I get so jealous of her sometimes. At parties, she engages in conversations with different people, switching between languages depending on who she's talking to. Watching her, I think, 'I hope our kids grow up like that,' because those abilities truly seem to enrich one's life."

He also shared, "Not long ago, my wife and I visited Bulguksa Temple, and we had a small talk with a German woman there. We had a 40-minute conversation, and it was so enjoyable. I really hope our kids can learn that aspect from her."
 
Song Joong Ki married Katy Louise Saunders in 2023. 

Later that year, in June, they welcomed their first son, and last November, they had a daughter.

They have homes in both Italy and Korea, and they frequently travel back and forth between the two countries.
