[SBS Star] VIDEO: Park Shin Hye Tearfully Thanks Her Husband Choi Tae Jun for His Support

Actress Park Shin Hye tearfully thanked her husband, actor Choi Tae Jun, for his support. 

On December 21, "2024 SBS Drama Awards" took place at SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul. 

At the awards ceremony, the Director's Award, selected through votes by Studio S directors, was presented to Park Shin Hye for her role in "The Judge from Hell." 

During her acceptance speech, Park Shin Hye said, "I am sincerely grateful to 'The Judge from Hell' director who always guided me with care. You created the perfect conditions for me to perform my best on set. When things were tough and I felt exhausted, you supported me so I wouldn't fall."
Park Shin Hye also expressed gratitude to co-star Kim Jaeyeong, saying, "Kim Jaeyeong earlier said that he was happy to have been Park Shin Hye's man, but I think it's actually all thanks to him that I was able to shine as Bit-na. I'm truly grateful to Kim Jaeyeong for being my man."

The actress added, thanking the viewers and fans, "I've constantly reflected on change and wondered how long I could continue in this profession. I'm deeply thankful to the viewers who embraced my transformation with such joy. And I am especially grateful to the fans who have continued to love me even after I became a mother."

Lastly, Park Shin Hye shared her thanks to Choi Tae Jun, "It's not often you meet someone who is truly compatible with you. To my husband, Choi Tae Jun, I want to take this moment to publicly say thank you for the first time. I'm so grateful for your support, with my self-esteem being lower than most people realize. Your support has meant so much to me."

Overwhelmed with emotion, she ended up crying as she finished her speech.
 
Back in March 2018, it was reported that Park Shin Hye and actor Choi Tae Jun were dating each other.

Shortly after, they confirmed their relationship, and stated that they have been with each other since the end of 2017.

Then, in November 2021, Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Jun made their plans to marry public and announced they were expecting a baby.

Their wedding ceremony took place in January 2022, and they welcomed their baby in May of the same year.
