[SBS Star] "If Anyone Speaks Badly of Lee Haeri, I'll..." Kang Minkyung Tells Why DAVICHI is Unbreakable

Kang Minkyung and Lee Haeri of K-pop duo DAVICHI revealed the secret to their long run as a female duo.

On the December 17 episode of SBS' television show 'Whenever Possible', Kang Minkyung and Lee Haeri guested.

Entertainer Yu Jae Seok and actor Yoo Yeon Seok, the hosts of 'Whenever Possible', sat down with the DAVICHI members, who have worked together as a team for 17 years.

"It must have been hard to work as a duo for such a long period.", Yoo Yeon Seok remarked.

Lee Haeri replied, "It's difficult. No wonder female duos are rare in the industry. It's not easy."

"And you guys hadn't had a feud. Which one of you has been the more patient one? When two people don't have a conflict, one is probably being patient with the other.", Yu Jae Seok said.

Kang Minkyung and Lee Haeri quarreled over who had been more patient with whom; however, they soon agreed that although they did fight, none of them crossed the line.
During the show, four of them went to an udon place.

While enjoying lively chats over the meal, Yu Jae Seok noticed something about the interactions between Kang Minkyung and Lee Haeri.

"You guys don't seem to listen to what each other says. When one is talking, the other cuts it off without listening!", Yu Jae Seok observed.

"That's why we've been working together for a long time! We don't try to understand each other.", Kang Minkyung playfully remarked.

She then resumed more seriously, "I think our same sense of humor is why we could have worked together for a long time. She teases me back when I tease her, and we can laugh about it."

"Yeah, if one always teases and the other holds grudges, it means the two are not compatible.", Lee Haeri added.
Yu Jae Seok asked the DAVICHI members, "Think about this scenario: after your teasing session, someone else at the gathering approaches you later and asks, 'What was that? Are your emotions okay?'. Haven't you guys had this experience?"

"Why are you so familiar with the tactics of making bad blood between people?", Kang Minkyung playfully responded and said that it never happened to her and Lee Haeri.

"Fortunately, nobody around us tried to create bad blood between us. That's because they know they'll be dead trying us. If someone speaks badly of Haeri unnie in front of me ever so slightly, I'm going to go right on them.", Kang Minkyung remarked, revealing her strong friendship with Lee Haeri.

Lee Haeri said, "I guess no one dares to attempt to start bad blood between us since people know it won't work. Our friendship is too solid to test."
