[SBS Star] "I Worked Part-Time at a Cafe" Jeon So Min Opens Up About Her Post-'Running Man' Life

Actress Jeon So Min spoke candidly about how she has been after leaving 'Running Man'.

On December 13, Jeon So Min guested on Ji Suk-jin's YouTube show with actor Choi Daniel, her co-star in KBS' drama 'Sorry Not Sorry'.

Ji Suk-jin and Jeon So Min leaped and laughed together in delight as they saw each other; the two were cast mates in SBS' television show 'Running Man' until Jeon So Min's departure in November last year.

"This is the first time we've seen each other since So Min left 'Running Man'.", Ji Suk-jin said.

Jeon So Min asked, "May I suggest saying 'graduated' instead?"

"No, So Min left the show.", Ji Suk-jin spoke to the camera, teasing the actress.

"She clearly wanted to leave, and we couldn't change her mind. I tried to convince her to stay, and all the members did since we were like a family. So Min, all I said back then was from my genuine concern for you.", he added.

Jeon So Min remarked, "Well, the show's atmosphere seemed much better now. And the cast members' overall age went lower."

Ji Suk-jin expressed how much he and other cast members missed her, and Jeon So Min answered that she missed them too.
Jeon So Min opened up about her life after leaving 'Running Man'.

"I got into filming earlier than I had expected as I took part in a movie three to four months after I left the show. I shot a quick two-part drama next and then joined 'Sorry Not Sorry'."

Although things went smoothly, Jeon So Min said she was full of worries when she left 'Running Man'.

"My future seemed very uncertain back then; there was no project on my hands, and I had gone over my budget when I moved to my current house."

"Graduating from 'Running Man' in that state, especially with the acting industry being in a slump, I was worried about how I would go on with my life. So, I worked part-time for a café that an oppa I knew runs.", the actress revealed.
Jeon So Min continued, "It's a café at the Channel A company building in Sangam-dong. When customers entered and saw me, they all started looking around to see if cameras were around. 'Are you experiencing café work for a show or something?', people would ask me."

"The café owner let me work there under the condition that I should not wear any mask or a hat to increase the sales. I was paid the same hourly wage as the other employees there. The owner bought me meals, though."

"It was fun. It reminded me of when I was 29, working part-time at a café for a long time. The experience made me feel like I was back to my past self, full of dreams. I feel re-energized now.", Jeon So Min said.
