[SBS Star] Tablo Remembers When Kang Hye-jeong Wisely Stopped Him Before Announcing Their Marriage

Tablo of hip-hop trio Epik High shared an episode showcasing how wise his wife, actress Kang Hye-jeong is. 

On December 2, Epik High's Tablo, Mithra, and Tukutz guested on 'Zzan Bro', the YouTube show hosted by comedian Shin Dong-yeob.

During their conversation about marriage, Tablo mentioned that he held his wedding ceremony two weeks after Tukutz's.

Tablo then related an episode from when he and Kang Hye-jeong met with other Epik High members to announce their marriage decision.

"Hye-jeong and I gathered the members at a coffee place that day with plans to announce our marriage. But just as I was about to stand up and break the news, Tukutz got up first and announced that he and his girlfriend were getting married!", Tablo recounted.

He resumed, "As Tukutz started talking, Hye-jeong grabbed my hand and pulled me down, putting me in my seat. We celebrated Tukutz that day without talking about our marriage."
"You should have given me a hint or something beforehand.", Tukutz said to Tablo with a burst of embarrassed laughter.

"Wow, Hye-jeong is so thoughtful. She must have done so to avoid stealing his thunder.", Shin Dong-yeob expressed, and Tablo nodded.

Tablo continued, "A few days later, Hye-jeong and I told the members we were getting married. We also revealed that we had originally planned to share this news during our previous gathering, the day Tukutz announced his wedding."

Tablo remembered how joyful the season was for him and Tukutz as they each got married two weeks apart.
Mithra, on the other hand, admitted that he was in a totally different place than his gleeful friends at the time.

"These two announced their marriages to me a few days after I broke up with someone. On top of that, they both asked me to be their wedding MC. Who does that to a guy who recently went through a breakup?", Mithra hilariously shared.

Tablo added, "Mithra had some hard times for a few years after that. Tukutz and I couldn't be there for him as much as we used to be, so he hung out with other pals. But as he got married after a few more years, our bond became even more stronger."
