[SBS Star] Jung Woo Sung's Comment About Marriage During Moon Gabi's Pregnancy Resurfaces

Following the confirmation that 51-year-old actor Jung Woo Sung is the biological father of 35-year-old model Moon Gabi's newborn son, his comments about marriage during her pregnancy are drawing renewed attention.

Exactly a year ago, in November 2023, Jung Woo Sung guested on Sung Si-kyung's YouTube show. 

At that time, Sung Si-kyung curiously asked Jung Woo Sung, "How do you deal with loneliness? Are you just going to stay single and not ever get married?" as someone also single in middle years. 

Jung Woo Sung paused for a moment, then replied, "It certainly wasn't my choice to stay single until now. It was more like I couldn't get married because I missed the timing for it." 
Then, the actor indirectly mentioned his 2011 dating news with actress E Jiah that he let the public know himself, "You know what's interesting? I was the first-ever actor to 'expose' a romantic relationship before the media did." 

He resumed, "If I'm being honest with you, I feel sorry for all the celebrities out there. They're just like everybody else, you know. But why do they have to get so hated for having a girlfriend or boyfriend?" 

Sung Si-kyung then ended this subject by playfully stating, "You know what? I'll make my relationship with my future girlfriend public as well. I'm waiting for you right here, wifey! Don't take too long, okay?!" 
This video was posted during Moon Gabi's pregnancy. According to reports, Moon Gabi informed Jung Woo Sung of her pregnancy in June of last year, and she gave birth to a son this March.

The two were not officially in a romantic relationship, and while Moon Gabi wants to get married, it is reported that Jung Woo Sung is firmly opposed to the idea and is only willing to support the child financially.

It is said that the two have yet to reach an agreement on the issue of marriage.
