Hip-hop artist Jay Park went to Gangwon-do to help farmers harvest sweet potatoes on his day-off.

On September 28, Jay Park updated his Instagram with photos that caught the eye of many.

They were photos of him in a farmer's outfit at one farm in Gangwon-do.

In the photos, he posed with other farmers while picking sweet potatoes and during a break while having some snacks together.
Jay ParkLately, Jay Park has been busy performing at various music festivals that there was no day when he had nothing on his schedule.

It turned out he had gone all the way to Gangwon-do on his day-off that rarely came around recently, just to help the farmers there.

It depends on which part of Gangwon-do the farm is located, but it takes about three to four hours to get from Seoul to Gangwon-do by car.
Jay ParkOver these photos, Jay Park wrote, "These are organic sweet potatoes. Anybody wants to take some home?"

He added, "I've come to this farm several times before, but today was the most difficult day. It was fun though. Raise your hand if you want to join me the next time! You'll be more than welcome!"
Jay ParkEarlier in the year, Jay Park launched his own soju (distilled Korean liquor) brand―WON SOJU.

At that time, one expert who helped Jay Park bring WON SOJU out into the world said to him, "I'll help you with your soju brand, but in return, help me at my farm at least one a month."

Ever since then, Jay Park has been going to this farm to lend his hand, keeping his promise.
