[SBS Star] WINNER MINO & YOON to Release Solo Albums; YG Ent. Confirms

K-pop boy group WINNER's management agency YG Entertainment gave an update on the group's two members MINO and YOON's future solo activities.

On August 13, YG Entertainment made an announcement on the agency's official Twitter account.

According to the announcement, the two WINNER members will each release solo full album within this year.
YG Entertainment's full statement reads as follows:

Hello, this is YG Entertainment.

We would like to make a brief announcement regarding WINNER members MINO and YOON's new music releases.

We are currently planning on releasing MINO's solo full album sometime in this October.

The album will not be a single or a mini album but a full-length album containing around 10 songs, so the production took longer than expected.

Currently, MINO is focusing on the final stages of his album recording.

Considering the last bits of recording and music video filming, we are expecting the album's release time frame to be around mid-October.

YOON is also doing his best to show you a good image as an actor, focusing on his role on MBC's new drama 'Kairos' airing this October.

In the midst of his busy schedule, YOON is currently working on his solo songs as well.

As his drama filming schedule overlaps with his music production, it is difficult to predict the exact time frame for YOON's solo album release.

However, as both members have shown their determination in wanting to release a full album this fall, YG entertainment is respecting their thoughts and taking them into consideration.

YG Entertainment is also putting in efforts to respond to fans' voices and working hard to bring you only the best. 

We are truly grateful to all the fans for their unchanging affection and anticipation, and we also ask for your encouragements toward JINU and HOONY, who enlisted in the military this past April after the release of WINNER's third full album 'Remember'.
Earlier this month, WINNER's fans held a week-long protest demanding YG Entertainment to provide support on the members' solo activities.
