[SBS Star] Cardi B Reveals She Tried to Translate BTS' Songs After Becoming an ARMY Herself

American rapper Cardi B revealed that she has translated some of K-pop boy group BTS' tracks to understand the lyrics on a better level after madly falling in love with the group.

On May 2 (local time), Cardi B held a live broadcast to spend some quality time with her fans and to talk about various topics.

The day before her live broadcast, Cardi B made appearance at '2019 Billboard Music Awards' (BBMAs) and ran into BTS who was also there to perform.

On this day, she even took a picture with the group to mark the occasion.
Whilst talking about the moment she met BTS, Cardi B said, "I always see them on Twitter. For some reason, they are always on Twitter and yesterday, Jesus Christ, these girls were ready to risk it all for these guys. Every celebrity was there, and they were going bananas for them."
She continued, "I was like, 'I need to see what is it about.'. They were really cute. They could dance. I like their music. I barely understood what they're saying, but we've been translating and bopping."

Cardi B added, "I like to learn about different cultures. I like to learn about different people,
especially because they look at us, and they support us. So, we got to support them too."
After her live broadcast, BTS' fans commented, "Welcome to the world of ARMY (the name of BTS' fan club)", "That's so true. We really need to support and learn about different cultures.", "It seems like she has a great taste in music.", and many more.

Meanwhile, BTS received two awards at this year's BBMAs including Top Duo/Group and Top Social Artist awards.
