[SBS Star] Red Velvet JOY Frowns & Hangs Up on an Obsessive Fan Who Continuously Calls Her

K-pop girl group Red Velvet's member JOY became annoyed with an obsessive fan who continuously called her during a live broadcast.

On April 27, JOY and her two fellow members IRENE and SEULGI turned on a live broadcast to communicate with fans.

The three girls were seen having a good laugh and eating some mouthwatering food together in their hotel room.Not long after the live broadcast began though, JOY's phone started to ring.

After discovering that it was from a fan, JOY looked straight at the camera and said, "Stop calling me."

The phone carried on ringing, and she told the fan not to call her with a smile once again. The fan, however, kept on disturbing JOY, IRENE, and SEULGI trying to have a good time, and JOY could not help herself but to frown out of irritation.

In the end, she got up and just hung up on the fan while the phone was still ringing.JOY was not the only one who got upset by this disrespectful behavior of the fan; it triggered many fans' anger as well.

Following the live broadcast, they flooded online with comments such as, "Just leave her alone!", "I have absolutely zero respect for fans like you. You should not even be called a fan!", "Don't you know what privacy means?", and more.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet released a Japanese version of its hit song from last year 'Power Up' on April 24.
