[SBS Star] Park Yu Chun's Side Continues to Deny Drug Use After Testing Positive

Singer/actor Park Yu Chun and his lawyer continue to deny Park Yu Chun's drug use even after testing positive for methamphetamine.

On April 25, Park Yu Chun's lawyer has released their first statement since Park Yu Chun's drug test came out positive on April 19.
The lawyer stated, "The results of the National Forensic Service cannot be denied. However, Park Yu Chun's stance that he did not do drugs remains unchanged."

He further stated that they are currently reviewing how the drug got into his system before he begins his next investigation.
The lawyer explained, "We do not have much time until the questioning to determine the validity of the pretrial arrest warrant request, but we are looking into how Philopon (a form of meth) entered his system and was detected by the test initiated by the National Forensic Service."

According to Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, Park Yu Chun purchased a total of 1.5g of Philopon of which 0.5g was injected over five separate times with his ex-fiancée Hwang Hana.
Meanwhile, C-JeS Entertainment has terminated Park Yu Chun's exclusive contract and announced his retirement from the entertainment industry on April 24.
