K-pop boy group Golden Child's member JANG JUN stated that bananas help him write songs well.
On October 24, Golden Child's showcase for its third mini album 'WISH' was held in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
During the showcase, TAG and JANG JUN, who participated in rap-making of all tracks in this mini album said that they had a hard time writing the lyrics, but they were able to come up with great lyrics thinking about their fans.
Then, TAG and JANG JUN began talking about their way of working on a song.
TAG said, "A lot of people say that experience is the most important thing to have when it comes to writing lyrics, but I usually just use my imagination."
He continued, "The writers who wrote 'Harry Potter' and 'The Avengers' imagined everything in their head. I want to become an artist like them."
When TAG was done talking, JANG JUN began sharing how he writes his lyrics, "It's different for me. My lyrics all come from my very own experience."
A brief moment later, he added, "I tend to come up with good ideas when I eat bananas while working on a song. So, I always have a banana next me to when I have to write lyrics. It almost inspires me."
Everyone at the event burst out in laughter after hearing JANG JUN's random and funny statement.
Meanwhile, Golden Child's third mini album 'WISH' with the title track 'GENIE' was released today at 6PM KST.
