[SBS Star] Lee Jong Suk to Lead Romantic Comedy for the First Time!

Actor Lee Jong Suk is confirmed to make appearance in a romantic comedy!

On September 28, it was reported that Lee Jong Suk will take the male protagonist role of tvN's upcoming drama 'Romance is a Bonus Book' (tentative title).
'Romance is a Bonus Book' will cover the story of people who work at a publishing company.

This would be Lee Jong Suk's first time starring in a romantic comedy genre since his debut, and also his small screen comeback.
In 'Romance is a Bonus Book', Lee Jong Suk will take the role of youngest editor-in-chief 'Cha Eun-ho'.

'Cha Eun-ho' is a writing prodigy who published his first book in his teenage years, and succeeded in securing his position as a treasure of the literary world.

When at work, he may seem quite frigid and uptight, but he is actually a down-to-earth guy who has a heart of gold not to mention his good looks.
Lee Jong Suk said, "I have always admired the work of screenwriter Jung Hyun-jung and director Lee Jung-hyo. I'm so delighted that now I have a chance to work with them."

He continued, "I am also thrilled for this challenge since this would be my first time filming a romantic comedy. I think I could show the public a different side of me which they never have a chance to see yet."
Meanwhile, 'Romance is a Bonus Book' is expected to be aired in the first half of 2019.
