K-pop boy group 2PM's member JUN.K received commendation upon completing his military training, and wrote a letter to his fans.
Recently, JUN.K was awarded commendation for his outstanding overall performance among the training soldiers.
On June 14, a picture of JUN.K holding the certificate of commendation was shared on 2PM's social media account.
In the caption, "Great news, everyone! JUN.K just had a completion ceremony, and he has received commendation for his outstanding performance in the military from the divisional commander. I wanted to share this with you as soon as I could."

A few days before this picture was posted, JUN.K reassured fans that he was doing well in the military by writing them a handwritten letter.
In the letter, he wrote, "Hi. I think this may be the last letter that I will write to you from the training center. Tomorrow, I will be attending a completion ceremony. I'm grateful for the letters, online messages, and parcels that you guys sent me. I was especially happy to hear about how the other members of 2PM were doing, and the things that are currently happening in this world. More than anything, I'm doing very well."

He continued, "I won third place in the race, and I even did 111 sit-ups! Also, I will be receiving an award from our divisional commander at tomorrow's completion ceremony. I got to finish my training in second place, so I'll be receiving a silver medal. I honestly did my best among other training soldiers who were mostly born in 1998."
He added, "I would like to thank everyone in this division, and you guys for supporting me. Also, 2PM members sent me letters. I really miss you guys."

Lastly, he wrote, "Anyway, it's getting extremely hot. Make sure to keep yourself fit in this weather. I'm suddenly craving some watermelon. It's just that hot right now. I'll write to you again soon! I love you. P.S. I had an autograph session earlier, and signed my autograph to 250 guys for the first time in my life."
Meanwhile, JUN.K has enlisted in the military to serve the national mandatory duty on May 8.
