[SBS Star] TVXQ! MAX Changmin Gets Recognized for Making Large Donation

K-pop boy group TVXQ!'s MAX Changmin has become a member of 'Green Noble Club for Children', a group of people who made large donation to 'ChildFund Korea'.

On May 21, 'ChildFund Korea'―one of the most influential international non-governmental organizations in Korea working for the welfare of children announced that MAX Changmin became the 116th member of 'Green Noble Club for Children'.

In order to become a member of the club, the amount of donation to 'ChildFund Korea' must be over 100 million won (approximately 92,000 dollars) in the last five years.MAX ChangminBack in 2017, MAX Changmin has been said to have donated 45 million won (approximately 41,000 dollars) to the victims of the Pohang earthquake, particularly to children of low-income families.

Furthermore, MAX Changmin has recently donated 55 million won (approximately 51,000 dollars) to support children suffering from illnesses and diseases ahead of Children's Day on May 5.MAX ChangminAt the membership ceremony of 'Green Noble Club for Children' on May 21, Max Changmin said, "I'm slightly embarrassed, because there are more people out there making much more donation than I do."

Then, MAX Changmin explained the reasons why he will continue to make donation, "I believe your childhood is the most important time of your life. I want children to live without getting hurt due to having less."

He went on, "I will keep doing the things that I need to do for children, so that they can all grow up smiling."MAX ChangminOver the few years, not only MAX Changmin had helped children financially, but he had also made talent donation, including participating in a radio campaign for children's happiness, crime prevention puppet show for children, and so on.

MAX Changmin's benevolent nature is grabbing the attention of many people at the moment.

Meanwhile, MAX Changmin and his fellow member U-KNOW Yunho appear on a reality show 'TVXQ!'s the 72-hour', which airs at 11AM every Monday to Wednesday on NAVER V LIVE and NAVER TV.
