[SBS Star] 'Marijuana Scandal' T.O.P's Recent Birthday Photo Released

A recent photo of K-pop boy group BIGBANG's T.O.P―who is on hiatus for self-restraint and self-reflection for marijuana scandal―was released. 

On November 5, Chinese media Sina.com reported that a recent photo of T.O.P making a birthday wish was uploaded on his mother's SNS.

In the picture, T.O.P was seen celebrating his birthday, making a wish in front of his birthday cake. 

His birthday cake had three candles, which represent his age of 30, and was seen praying next to his mother, two eyes closed. 

On the same day, BIGBANG's leader G-DRAGON and member TAEYANG also celebrated his birthday by posting their group's photo on their SNS. 
Earlier, the rapper T.O.P had been indicted for breaking narcotics laws in Korea. He was charged with smoking marijuana. He smoked marijuana with a trainee two times and vaped liquid marijuana two times, total of four times at his home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. 

Then he was sentenced to a 10-month suspended jail sentence for illicit drug use after he pleaded guilty and sought leniency.

T.O.P also has been deemed unfit to serve as a conscripted policeman. Thus, he will be serving as a public service worker to complete his mandatory service. 
Meanwhile, BIGBANG is expected to hold its year-end concert 'BIGBANG 2017 CONCERT LAST DANCE IN SEOUL' in Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul next month without T.O.P.
