[SBS Star] Lee Sangwoo to Reference XIUMIN and Kang Daniel for His Drama Role?

Korean actor Lee Sangwoo is acting an idol star in his new drama!

Lee Sangwoo will play the character named 'Anthony' on his upcoming drama '20th Century Boy and Girl', a former idol star who experienced both success and failure.

For this role, Lee Sangwoo revealed that K-pop boy group EXO's XIUMIN, Wanna One's Kang Daniel and Highlight's Junhyung helped him to build the character.
The four stars previously made their appearance together on a TV show called 'Dangerous Beyond the Blanket'.
Lee said, "Before the crank in, I got to hang out with current idols such as XIUMIN, Kang Daniel and Junhyung. I was able to observe and apply their characteristics to build my character Anthony."

He added, "Through this character, I want to express that the life of a celebrity is not as glamorous as it seems to be."

MBC's '20th Century Boy and Girl' is set to be on air on September 25.
