Set to premiere Nov. 21 on SBS, the new season of the hit series―adapted from the webtoon―once again follows the shadowy Rainbow Taxi company and driver Kim Do-gi as they take justice into their own hands for victims the system failed. After the franchise soared as a breakout success, peaking at 21% and ranking among the top-rated Korean dramas since 2023, anticipation is high for the return of this certified mega IP.
At the center of its staying power is the Rainbow team’s seamless chemistry: Lee Je-hoon (Kim Do-gi), Kim Eui-sung (Jang, head of Rainbow Taxi), Pyo Ye-jin (Go Eun), Jang Hyuk-jin (Choi), and Bae Yoo-ram (Park). Fans have embraced their found-family dynamic and razor-sharp teamwork as they school the worst of the worst. Season 2 also turned heads with a parade of undercover alter egos that blended action, comedy, and even a dash of romance.
Now, “Taxi Driver 3” teases an even splashier round of undercover play with new personas for all five―a promise underscored by the latest character posters.
Do-gi steals the spotlight in a statement suit, all swagger and danger, his rebellious gaze hinting at what’s next. After fan-favorite disguises, viewers are eager to see which icon-in-the-making he unveils this season.
The rest of the squad follows suit: Jang radiates steely authority, Go Eun serves cool, coy charm, Choi flashes his mischievous grin, and Park looks braced for yet another chaotic mission. The lineup of alter egos has fans buzzing about what kind of team play will deliver the show’s signature catharsis this time around.
“With an even wider range of villains on deck this season, the Rainbow Taxi team returns with bolder, more dynamic undercover personas,” the production notes. “Expect the comeback of legendary fan-favorite alter egos alongside brand-new characters, packed with fresh appeal.”
"Taxi Driver 3" premieres Friday, Nov. 21 at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS, following the finale of “Would You Marry Me.”
