[SBS Star] VIDEO: "Gosh, He's So Awesome!" Lee Je Hoon Spotted Fanboying Over BTS JUNGKOOK

Actor Lee Je Hoon was spotted fanboying over JUNGKOOK of K-pop boy group BTS. 

On November 29, Mnet's annual awards ceremony '2023 MAMA Awards' was held in Tokyo, Japan. 

Prior to the ceremony, each artist invited to the ceremony stood in front of the press wall.

Being one of the invitees, Lee Je Hoon was obviously one of these artists. 

Following a photo session there, the hosts Lee Hye-seong, HANHAE and RALRAL came to Lee Je Hoon to ask a couple of questions before he entered the venue. 
The first thing that Lee Je Hoon was asked was, "It's your first time coming to 'MAMA Awards' since 2017, right? Was there anything you found different from that time?" 

Lee Je Hoon answered, "I circled around the venue in my van earlier, and I saw thousands of fans outside. They were all filled with so much passion. It was incredible to see that. That got me to think, 'Wow, how amazing would it be if I could join this ceremony next year as well?!'" 

RALRAL commented, "Definitely join us next year too! And... I can tell that you love K-pop. I've actually seen you cover TAEYANG's track 'Shoong!' at your fan meeting this year." 

Lee Je Hoon blushed and responded, "Ah, yes. I know that I'm old, but I just really wanted to do a dance cover of TAEYANG's song, since I love TAEYANG. 'Shoong!' was unbelievably difficult to dance to though. I don't think I'll ever be able to cover the song again."

After hearing this, Lee Hye-seong asked, "Is there a K-pop artist that you have your eye on these days?"

Without hesitation, Lee Je Hoon answered, "I do, I do. It's JUNGKOOK. Honestly, his performances are..."

Thinking about JUNGKOOK's performances, the actor could not say anything more than "wow" for a bit after that. 

Then, Lee Je Hoon said, "Seriously, like... Gosh, JUNGKOOK's so awesome. Every time I watch him perform, I'm like, 'I want to dance like that. I should copy his moves.' But I've been stopping myself from even trying it." 

He elaborated on why he has to stop himself from doing it, "I simply think that I would never be able to perform like him even if I tried my best. That's why." 

When the hosts went, "Oh, you sound like a huge fan of his. You must love him," Lee Je Hoon shyly nodded.
