[SBS Star] Kevin Oh Says His Wife Kong Hyo-jin Is More Than Just a Muse

Singer Kevin Oh, who recently tied the knot with actress Kong Hyo-jin, talked about the love of his life.

On October 19, fashion magazine Cosmopolitan Korea dropped photos from their recent photo shoot with Kevin Oh, as well as his interview.
During the interview, Kevin Oh showed how much he cherishes the song 'Dawn when you and I were asleep' (literal translation) in his upcoming full album 'Pieces of _'.

The song was composed by Kevin Oh himself, with lyrics written by Kong Hyo-jin.

Kevin Oh said, "The song all started with something my fiancé wrote one day. I liked the note so much that I made it into a song."

He explained, "I didn't change a single word (of her note) and left the lyrics as it is. It just matched perfectly with the melody that I was working on. To the point that the lyrics were prepared for this melody."
Kevin Oh also talked about why love is the most important thing in one's life.

He said, "All you need is love. In life, many things are important; that could be work or fame, but the most important thing is love. Not only the love between lovers, but also between friends and family."

The singer also showed affection for his wife Kong Hyo-jin, saying, "I get a lot of inspiration from my fiancé (now-wife), but I don't want to describe her simply as my muse. It's so comforting to have someone who loves and trusts you."
Kevin Oh and Kong Hyo-jin announced their relationship in April of this year, and held their wedding ceremony on October 12.
