[SBS Star] Ailee and ZICO to Visit Pyongyang, North Korea!
K-pop artists Ailee, ZICO and songwriter Kim Hyung-suk are confirmed to visit Pyongyang, North Korea.

On September 16, 2018 Inter-Korean Summit Preparation Committee unveiled the full list of South Korean President Moon Jae-in's entourage list who will accompany Moon's visit to North Korea.

The list was made of 52 people including politicians, conglomerate leaders, K-pop artists and other figures from different fields.
ZICO
After the list was revealed to the public, ZICO issued a public statement through his label SEVENSEASONS.

He said, "It is more than an honor to be a part of the team. As this summit holds a lot of meaning, I will do my best to contribute to the team."
Ailee
Ailee also commented through her management agency YMC Entertainment, "It truly is an honor to be a part of the team. As this summit would be another valuable opportunity for the two Koreas to communicate, I will put my heart into this."
Kim Hyung-suk
Kim Hyung-suk also shared on his social media account, "I will go to Pyongyang with Zico and Ailee to attend the summit as a part of the entourage. I will be playing the rearranged version of 'Arirang' and 'Our Wish Is Reunification' with piano during the banquet. This invite has a special meaning to me since my mother's side of the family is also a diaspora. I will do my best to narrow the gap between North and South through music."

ZICO, Ailee, and Kim Hyung-suk are expected to hold a small scale joint performance.

Presidential Chief of Staff Im Jong-seok raised the public's expectation towards the show by saying, "Including the two gigs back in April, this would be our third performance in North Korea. Just like last performances, this session will also act as a bridge connecting our two little hearts."

The third inter-Korean summit will be held on September 18 to 20.
