On October 31, Kim Jae Joong's interview clip was aired through SBS 'HanBam'.
In the interview, the reporter asked Kim Jae Joong whether he was expecting that many fans to see him on the day he was discharged from the military.
Kim Jae Joong said, "No, I had no idea. I thought no one would come out, as I took a break for almost two years."
Then a reporter asked him about how he had been non-stop busy with his work ever since he was discharged from the military, since December 30 of last year.
Kim Jae Joong said, "It was possible because I wanted to show my fans that I'm growing over time. My fans trusted me and waited for me." He also added that thinking about his fans who have waited for him, he is willing to challenge himself further.
During the interview, Kim Jae Joong talked about his difficult times before making a debut as an artist.
He said, "I came from the countryside, so I did a part-time job. Therefore, I didn't have much time to practice. Then a staff from the management agency said it'll be hard for me to become a singer. But on the day I had to record an album with other trainees, I was lucky to receive an offer to become a singer."
After overcoming all kinds of hardships, Kim Jae Joong's dream came true. He is now one of the most influential Hallyu stars from Korea.
