On September 22, it was reported that Jang Keun Suk's fan club 'Cri J' raised a total of 75 million won (66,128 dollars) throughout the three-day exhibition from August 1 to August 3 in BLUE SQUARE, Seoul.
The fan club will donate all of the funds raised to local charity organizations to cover medical costs for hearing-impaired children, biliary obstruction surgery, and buy food for abandoned dogs.
'Cri J' has made it an annual celebration for the past five years, using the proceeds from photo sales and admission fees meaningfully.
It was reported that the fans regularly visit Namsanwon orphanage and a shelter for abandoned dogs Aeshin Dongsan for volunteer work. To express its gratitude for Jang's fan club's persistent support, the orphanage expressed its wish to name a new hall as 'Jang Keun Suk Hall'.
Following the fan club's exemplary fandom, Jang's fans in China have planted 1,987 trees this year to Million Forest Plan. The number of trees represents the star's birth year.
