Nayun of K-pop girl group MOMOLAND returned to Korea from the group's scheduled activities in Japan due to health issues.
On May 14, it was reported that Nayun is taking a break from group activities following a severe nose infection.
In response to the report, MOMOLAND's management agency MLD Entertainment released an official statement confirming the news.
MLD Entertainment stated, "Nayun returned to Korea in the middle of MOMOLAND's Japanese promotions due to a nose infection."
The agency continued, "She is currently focusing on treatment, and we will monitor her progress and then decide when she will return to MOMOLAND's promotions in Japan."
Meanwhile, MOMOLAND released its Japanese single 'I'm So Hot' on May 8 and started its promotional activities on May 10.
