[SBS Star] Yoon Jisung Announces His Military Enlistment Date & Shares a Heartfelt Letter

Yoon Jisung of disbanded K-pop project boy group Wanna One will soon be enlisting in the military to fulfill his national mandatory duty.

On April 25, Yoon Jisung shared a heartfelt letter to fans on his official fan site, which also contained the date for his military enlistment. Yoon Jisung said, "I hope everyone had a good day today. I'm writing this to you, because I have something to tell you. I will be enlisting in the military on May 14. I wanted to break the news to you first. I may have surprised some of you, but some of you probably have expected this to happen in the near future."

He continued, "I just cannot express how sorry I am to you guys, as I know you have already gone through one goodbye in the beginning of the year and will have to go through another one soon. That's too many goodbyes in a year." He went on to tell fans not to be concerned, "But I won't worry about you. As far as I know, you guys are all very strong individuals. I don't want you to worry about me as well. I will be back safely."

Then, Yoon Jisung ended the letter by saying, "I have lots more things to say, but I'll end my letter here. Just know that I'm always thankful for your love and sorry for everything." Meanwhile, Yoon Jisung's special album 'Dear diary' is scheduled to be released today at 6PM KST.
