Cryptocurrency exchange GOPAX has taken emergency measures to protect user assets after receiving an email threatening a hack.

GOPAX announced that it suspended withdrawals from the exchange starting at 2:55 p.m. today (November 6) and is transferring most of the assets in its hot wallet to a cold wallet, which is disconnected from the internet.

However, this is a preemptive response to the hacking threat, and it has been reported that no actual asset damage has occurred so far.
