A man in his 60s has been arrested by police after allegedly threatening medical staff with a weapon at a hospital in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province.

The suspect, a man in his 60s identified as A, is accused of threatening medical staff with a weapon at a clinic in Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, yesterday morning (November 5), complaining that his headache was not curing properly, and also acting disorderly toward responding police officers.

It was found that A, who is unlicensed, had driven a motorcycle to the hospital while under the influence of alcohol.

Police requested an arrest warrant for A today on charges including special intimidation and obstruction of official duties.
