The older brother of YouTuber Jinseoul (real name Cho Jin-woo), who earned praise for leaving deep impressions on viewers by traveling around the world by bicycle and documenting his journeys, has expressed gratitude to those who shared in the grief over the news of the creator's passing.

Writing on Jinseoul's social media account yesterday (November 5), the bereaved older brother shared the news of the passing, stating, "My heart aches and feels heavy to deliver such sudden and unfortunate news," and adding, "My younger brother and Jinseoul, who received love and support from so many people, has passed away in a traffic accident."

Jinseoul was struck and killed by a large freight truck while continuing his bicycle journey in El Alto, Bolivia, on the morning of the 4th, local time.

The bereaved family stated, "Amidst our deep sorrow and bewilderment, we are preparing for the deceased's final journey," and added, "We will forever cherish and gratefully remember the countless warm and noble hearts that are mourning and remembering him."

At the same time, they requested that people refrain from making unverified speculations regarding the accident or posting comments criticizing the deceased and his family.

The family also noted that they are receiving assistance from the South Korean embassy in Bolivia while "preparing to proceed with the funeral procedures," adding, "It would be a tremendous source of strength if you could wait and comfort Jin-woo (Jinseoul) so that he can return safely until the very end."

They added, "I sincerely bow my head and thank you." As the sudden news of Jinseoul's accident began to spread yesterday, messages honoring his soul and offering condolences continued to pour in from various places.
