Actor Jung Woo-sung is transforming into Han Myeong-hoe, the most powerful figure in the Joseon Dynasty, through the new film "Salsaengbu."

"Salsaengbu" tells the story of Han Myeong-hoe, who seized power through bloodshed, and people who lost everything to him and set out for revenge.

The film is based on a webtoon that adds imagination to the Gyeyu Jeongnan, a coup led by Grand Prince Suyang, and the subsequent movement to restore King Danjong.

Jung Woo-sung is set to show a new side of himself by taking on the role of Han Myeong-hoe, while Jung Sung-il will play Ban-seok, a character harboring a deep grudge against Han Myeong-hoe and preparing for revenge.

The film recently began filming and aims for release next year.
